Biography
Ronald Víctor García is an American cinematographer and film director. He grew up in Los Angeles and studied fine art painting at the Art Center College of Design before working in the aerospace industry and then moving into independent filmmaking.
García served as director of photography on the pilot of Twin Peaks (1990) and the feature Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992), both directed by David Lynch. His other cinematography credits include One from the Heart (1982), The Great White Hype (1996) and episodes of series such as Numb3rs, Hawaii Five-0 and Gilmore Girls. He has also directed television episodes and low-budget feature films.
In 1991 he received a CableACE Award for his work on El Diablo. García has received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a lifetime achievement award from the American Society of Cinematographers.
