Biography
Rosa Fragorapti is a Greek musicologist and performer based in Thessaloniki, specialising in the seven-string ancient Greek lyre. She is a founding member of the Echo (ΗΧΩ) Ensemble, dedicated to the historical reconstruction of ancient Greek music, and has given concerts across Europe. She holds a master's degree in musicology and, in 2021, became the first recipient of a diploma in ancient Greek lyre from the Municipal Conservatory of Nikaia, Athens.
Fragorapti performed the lyre on the soundtrack for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey (2026), composed by Ludwig Göransson. Alongside Callum Armstrong on aulos, she contributed to the score's use of reconstructed Bronze Age instruments rather than a conventional orchestra.
