Biography
Rosa Rey (born Isabel Mercedes Tárrago) was a Spanish actress and former opera singer who worked in Hollywood from the 1930s to the 1960s.
She appeared in Spanish-language films in the mid-1930s before taking supporting roles in English-language productions, often as maids or other character parts. Her credits include Gilda (1946) as Maria, Secret Beyond the Door (1947) as Paquita, and The Rose Tattoo (1955) as Mariella. She was married to actor Martin Garralaga, with whom she worked at Fox studios in the 1930s.
