Biography
Rose Gregorio (1925–2023) was an American actress. She began her career in theatre in Chicago and New York during the 1950s and 1960s, later becoming active in television and film from the 1970s, mostly in supporting roles.
She appeared in films including The Swimmer (1968), Eyes of Laura Mars (1978), True Confessions (1981), Five Corners (1987), The Deep End of the Ocean (1999) and Good Time (2017), in which she played Loren Ellman. On television she had a recurring role as Helen Hathaway on ER (1996–1999) and guest appearances on series such as Murder, She Wrote, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Rockford Files. She received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the 1977 Broadway production of The Shadow Box.
Gregorio was married to director Ulu Grosbard from 1965 until his death in 2012.
