Biography

Rosemary Breslin was a writer and journalist. She wrote one episode of the television series NYPD Blue in 1995.

Born in New York City, she graduated from Hamilton College. She worked as a reporter for newspapers including the New York Times, the Daily News and the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner. In 1997 she published the memoir Not Exactly What I Had in Mind: An Incurable Love Story.

Breslin was the daughter of columnist Jimmy Breslin. She married producer Anthony Dunne in 1992 (or 1994 per some sources) and produced two short documentaries with him in 2002. She died in New York City in 2004.
