Biography
Rosemary Martin (17 December 1936 – 14 August 1998) was an English actress born in Birmingham. She worked in film and television from 1964 until her death.
Her film roles include Mrs Durbeyfield in Tess (1979), as well as parts in It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet (1976), Britannia Hospital (1982), A Dry White Season (1989) and The Object of Beauty (1991).
On television she appeared as Mrs Partridge in Last of the Summer Wine, Lady Wickham in Jeeves and Wooster (1990), Irene Jackson in Cracker (1993), Sheila Kavanagh in Casualty, and in episodes of The Bill.
