Biography

Rosemary Odell was a costume designer who worked mainly at Universal Studios. She was taken on by the studio in 1945 and contributed to more than 120 films over the following two decades, often credited as Rosemary O'Dell.

Her credits include gowns or costumes for Brute Force (1947), Bend of the River (1952), Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), It Came from Outer Space (1953), This Island Earth (1955) and To Kill a Mockingbird (1962). She also worked on many Abbott and Costello comedies and Westerns.
