Biography
Rosita Toros, also credited as Rosita Torosh and Rosa Toros, was an Italian actress. She was born on 10 November 1945 in Udine and died there on 10 December 1995. She trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, graduating in 1969, the year she began her screen career after earlier amateur theatre work in her home town.
Toros appeared in numerous Italian genre films of the 1970s. Her credits include The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970) as the fourth victim, Duck, You Sucker (1971), Flesh for Frankenstein (1973) as Sonia, Almost Human (1974) as Marta, Spasmo (1974), Footprints on the Moon (1975) as Marie Leblanche, and The Red Nights of the Gestapo (1977). She also worked in television and, in the 1970s, served as president of the Italian naturist society LIN. In 1991 she married the poet and painter Pietro Cimatti.
