Biography
Roxana Ortega is an American actor and voice artist. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Fullerton, California, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with Phi Beta Kappa honours. She trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and is an alumna of the Groundlings Sunday Company.
Ortega has appeared in supporting roles in films including Larry Crowne (2011) opposite Tom Hanks and Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005) opposite Sandra Bullock. Her television credits include guest appearances in New Girl (2011) and Santa Clarita Diet (2017). She is known for voice work as Frida Casagrande in The Casagrandes and as Ukiki in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026). Ortega is also a writer and director.
