Biography
Ruby Barnhill is an English actress. She was born on 16 July 2004 in Knutsford, Cheshire.
Barnhill played the lead role of Sophie in Steven Spielberg's 2016 film The BFG. She has also appeared as Isobel in the television series 4 O'Clock Club (2015–2017) and provided voice roles in the English dubs of Mary and the Witch's Flower (2017) and The Imaginary (2023), as well as in Princess Emmy (2019). Her father, Paul Barnhill, is an actor who appeared in The BFG.
