Biography
Ruth Holden (1929–2001) was a British actress. Born in Lancaster, Lancashire, she appeared in numerous British television series and films over several decades.
She is known for her role as Marjorie Sutton in the 1984 apocalyptic drama Threads. Other credits include appearances in All Creatures Great and Small (as Mary Jane Wain), Cracker (as Lady on Bus), Coronation Street (as Vera Lomax) and Heartbeat (as Great Aunt Lil).
