Biography
Ruth Tobey was an American actress. Born on 30 August 1929 in Los Angeles, California, she appeared in films from the late 1930s to the late 1940s, often in supporting or uncredited juvenile roles. She was also credited as Ruth Toby in some early work.
Her credits include the role of Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town (1940), Bernadine Dodd in Janie (1944) and Janie Gets Married (1946), and an uncredited part in I Remember Mama (1948). She died on 15 April 2008 in California.
