Biography
Ryo Narita (成田凌) is a Japanese actor and model. Born on 22 November 1993 in Saitama Prefecture, he is represented by Sony Music Artists. He began his career as an exclusive model for the magazine Men's Non-no in 2013 and made his acting debut in the 2014 television drama Flashback.
Narita is known for voice roles as Katsuhiko Teshigawara in Makoto Shinkai's animated films Your Name. (2016) and Weathering with You (2019), and as Shinobu Hisatake in Belle (2021). His live-action credits include Manabu Itō in Homunculus (2021), Fumio in Just Remembering (2022), and lead roles in films such as Talking the Pictures (2019) and The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese (2020). In 2019 he won the Newcomer of the Year award at the 42nd Japan Academy Film Prize for his performances in Stolen Identity and The Antique.
