Biography
Saadia Bentaïeb is a French actress. She began studying theatre at the age of twenty-two after an error of address led her to a class. In her late twenties she started working with director Joël Pommerat and co-founded the Compagnie Louis Brouillard in the 1990s, performing with the company for two decades in intimate roles in plays such as Le Petit Chaperon Rouge and La Réunification des deux Corées.
She moved into cinema in the 2010s and has appeared in supporting roles in several critically acclaimed films, including Custody (2017) as the judge, BPM (Beats per Minute) (2017) as Sean's mother, The Animal Kingdom (2023) as Naïma and Anatomy of a Fall (2023) as Maître Nour Boudaoud.
