Biography
Sakshi Tanwar is an Indian actress and television presenter. She began her career as a presenter on the Doordarshan programme Albela Sur Mela after graduating from Lady Shri Ram College in New Delhi.
She rose to prominence playing Parvati Agarwal in the long-running soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii (2000–2008) and later Priya Sharma in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (2011–2014). In 2016 she appeared in the film Dangal as Daya Kaur, the wife of the central character played by Aamir Khan.
