Biography
Salaam Remi Gibbs is an American record producer. He was born on 14 May 1972 in Queens, New York.
Remi is known for his production work with artists including Nas, Amy Winehouse and Jazmine Sullivan. He served as executive music producer on the films Sex and the City (2008) and The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). He appeared as himself in the 2015 documentary Amy.
After ten Grammy nominations, he won the award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for his work on the soundtrack to The United States vs. Billie Holiday.
