Biography
Salim Kéchiouche is a French actor born on 2 April 1979 in Lyon to Algerian parents. He was discovered at the age of 15 by actor and director Gaël Morel, who gave him his first film role in À Toute Vitesse (1996). He trained at an acting school and graduated in 2002.
Kéchiouche has appeared in several of Morel's films, including Premières Neiges (1999), 3 Dancing Slaves (2004) and After Him (2007). His credits include Criminal Lovers (1999), Grande école (2004), Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013) as Samir, What the Day Owes the Night (2012), Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno (2018) as Tony, and series such as Lupin (2021) and Ganglands (2021). He divides his time between cinema and stage work and lives in Paris.
