Biography
Sally Blane, born Elizabeth Jane Young, was an American actress who appeared in more than 100 films. She made her screen debut as a child in 1917 and returned to acting in the 1920s, working primarily in supporting roles during the late 1920s and 1930s.
She was the sister of actresses Polly Ann Young and Loretta Young, and half-sister of Georgiana Young. Blane is credited as Alice in the 1932 film I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang. Her career largely concluded after 1939, with occasional later appearances.
In 1935 she married actor and director Norman Foster; they had two children. Blane died in 1997.
