Biography
Sally Nemeth was an American writer, playwright and novelist. She began her career in Chicago theatre in the early 1980s, co-founding the Chicago New Plays Festival Company, and wrote several plays including Holy Days and Mill Fire.
She contributed episodes to the television series Law & Order (1992–1993), for which she received awards from the American Bar Association and the National Council on Crime and Delinquency. Other television credits include Crime & Punishment (1993), The Trials of Rosie O'Neill (1992) and the television film Right on Track (2003). She also wrote for Law & Order: UK (2009). Her young-adult novel The Heights, the Depths, and Everything in Between was published in 2006.
Nemeth attended Northwestern University and later taught screenwriting at Loyola Marymount University. She died in Los Angeles on 30 July 2021.
