Biography
Salvatore Stabile is an American television and film writer, director and producer. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he graduated from Xaverian High School and attended New York University Tisch School of the Arts. He wrote and directed his debut feature film Gravesend (1997) at the age of 19; it was executive produced by Oliver Stone and released by Palm Pictures.
Stabile has written for several television series. His credits include the teleplay for the The Sopranos episode 'University' (2001), episodes of Rescue Me (2004), Revenge (2011) and Finding Carter (2014). He has also worked as a producer on shows including Rescue Me, Revenge and Power (2014).
His other directing credit is the feature film Where God Left His Shoes (2007), starring John Leguizamo.
