Biography
Sam Cutler (10 March 1943 – 11 July 2023) was an English tour manager who appeared as himself in documentary films. He began his career in the music industry as a stage manager and master of ceremonies for UK concerts in the 1960s, including the Rolling Stones' free concert in Hyde Park in 1969.
Cutler served as tour manager for the Rolling Stones' 1969 US tour. He appeared as Self in the 1970 documentary Gimme Shelter, which documented the tour and the Altamont Free Concert. He later worked as tour manager for the Grateful Dead. He died in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
