Biography
Sam Fishell is a writer and producer. He has written episodes of the animated series King of the Hill, including for its revival seasons, and served as executive story editor on ten episodes in 2025.
Fishell produced the 2018 documentary The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award. He has also worked in additional crew and assistant roles on projects including The Big Sick (2017) and several Judd Apatow productions, and as associate producer on the documentary May It Last: A Portrait of the Avett Brothers (2017).
