Biography
Sam Jones is an American director, producer and writer. He created and directed the interview series Off Camera with Sam Jones (2014–2019) and made his feature directorial debut with the Wilco documentary I Am Trying to Break Your Heart (2002).
Jones has directed episodes of several television series, including Cougar Town (2009), Roadies (2016) and Ted Lasso (2020). His documentary work includes Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off (2022), Jason Isbell: Running with Our Eyes Closed (2023) and SmartLess: On the Road (2023). He has also directed episodes of Bad Monkey (2024).
