Biography
Sam Phillips is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Born Leslie Ann Phillips, she began her career in the contemporary Christian music industry under her given name before adopting the stage name Sam Phillips in 1988.
She made her film acting debut as the mute terrorist Katya in Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995). Phillips has also appeared as a singer in The End of Violence (1997) and performed in an episode of Gilmore Girls (2000), for which she composed music across multiple seasons. She has scored other television series including Bunheads and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
