Biography
Sam Swainsbury is an English actor. He was born in Colchester and grew up in Halstead, Essex. He attended Holy Trinity School and participated in workshops at the Quay Theatre in Sudbury.
Swainsbury is known for playing Jason in the BBC sitcom Mum (2016–2019). His other credits include the Stonehenge TV News Reporter in Thor: The Dark World (2013), Rowan in Fisherman's Friends (2019), Ethan Williams in Hanna (2019), Dr John Snow in Victoria (2019), DI Brompton in The Duke (2020), Clive Roscoe in Dalgliesh (2021), Mr Bishop in Ludwig (2024), and roles in Fearless (2017) and Hullraisers (2023).
