Biography
Samantha Anne Bee (born 25 October 1969) is a Canadian-American comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actress and television host. She began her career in Canadian television and sketch comedy before moving to the United States.
Bee rose to prominence as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 2003 to 2015, becoming the programme's longest-serving regular correspondent. She later created and hosted Full Frontal with Samantha Bee (2016–2022). Her acting credits include the role of Renee Dalton in three episodes of the HBO series Bored to Death (2009–2011), as well as voice work in Bob's Burgers and appearances in films such as Whatever Works (2009) and Sisters (2015).
