Biography
Samantha Jayne is a writer, director and actress. She co-directed the 2024 musical film Mean Girls with Arturo Perez Jr., marking their feature debut. The pair had previously worked together on commercials, music videos and the dark comedy series Quarter Life Poetry.
Jayne created, wrote and starred in Quarter Life Poetry, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019. Earlier credits include writing and directing the short films Dan Miller (2015) and Vanity (2015). She is married to Arturo Perez Jr.
