Biography
Samantha Quan is a Canadian film producer and actress. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, she trained as an actress at NYU and appeared in films including How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003) and television series such as Elementary and NCIS: Los Angeles.
She has produced several features directed by her husband Sean Baker, including associate producer on The Florida Project (2017) and producer on Red Rocket (2021) and Anora (2024). Anora won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2025, which Quan shared with Baker and Alex Coco; she also received a Producers Guild of America Award and a BAFTA Award for Best Film for the same project.
