Samantha A. Smith is an American actress. Born on 4 November 1969 in Sacramento, California, she attended UCLA and began her career as a teenage model before moving to Los Angeles.
She is best known for her recurring role as Mary Winchester in the series Supernatural (2005–2019). Other television credits include guest appearances in Seinfeld (1996), Friends (1999), Monk (2006), Criminal Minds (2007), House (2010), The Mentalist (2014), 9-1-1 (2022) and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022), in which she played the Eldredth Leader. Film roles include Jerry Maguire (1996) and Transformers (2007), in which she played Sarah Lennox. She is also credited as Samantha A. Smith and Sam Smith.
