Biography
Samir Ljuma is a Macedonian cinematographer and producer. He has worked as director of photography on several documentary films, collaborating with directors from Macedonia and abroad.
Ljuma is best known for his work on Honeyland (2019), co-shot with Fejmi Daut. The film received the Special Jury Award for Cinematography at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019, as well as awards from the American Society of Cinematographers and the International Documentary Association. His other credits include the shorts Mishko (2018) and 5pm Seaside (2022).
