Biography
Sammi Cannold is an American theater, film and television director. She made her episodic television debut directing the 2025 episode "Goodbye Horses" of Grey's Anatomy.
Her theater credits include the Broadway production of How to Dance in Ohio (2023), for which she received a Drama Desk Award, as well as Endlings, Evita and Ragtime. She has also directed opera and worked as an associate director on Broadway. Cannold holds a BA from Stanford University and an MA from Harvard University. She is developing a feature film with the Sundance Institute.
