Biography
Sammi Cheng Sau-man is a Hong Kong singer and actress. Born on 19 August 1972 in Hong Kong, she began her acting career in the 1991 TVB series A Life of His Own and made her film debut in Best of the Best (1992).
She is known for film roles including Mary in Infernal Affairs (2002) and Infernal Affairs III (2003), Mini in Love on a Diet (2001), May Ho in My Left Eye Sees Ghosts (2002) and Ho in Blind Detective (2013). Cheng has also maintained a prominent singing career, with reported album sales exceeding 25 million copies across the Asia-Pacific region. She won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress for Lost Love (2022). She is married to singer Andy Hui.
