Biography
Samuel Le Bihan is a French actor. Born on 2 November 1965 in Avranches, he trained at the Rue Blanche theatre school and the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique, and was a member of the Comédie-Française from 1995 to 1997. He began appearing in films in the early 1990s.
His early screen roles include the Photographer in Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Three Colors: Red (1994) and Norbert in Bertrand Tavernier’s Capitaine Conan (1996), for which he received a César Award nomination. He is known for the lead role of Grégoire de Fronsac in Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001), as well as appearances in Venus Beauty Institute (1999), He Loves Me… He Loves Me Not (2002), Mesrine: Public Enemy #1 (2008) and the television series Alex Hugo. In 2024 he was appointed a Knight of the Legion of Honour for his work supporting families of children with autism.
