Biography
Sandra Hamada is a television writer. She has worked on Grey's Anatomy (2005–), serving as story editor, executive story editor and writer on multiple episodes from 2024 onwards. She previously wrote an episode of the Disney Channel series Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion (2022).
Hamada graduated from Pomona College in 2009 with a degree in sociology. She spent seven years as a community organiser with Community Coalition in South Los Angeles before transitioning to screenwriting. After interning at Gina Rodriguez’s production company and working as a production assistant for Alex Kurtzman’s company, she became a writers’ assistant on Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion. She later received the CAPE New Writers Fellowship. She has also worked as director of medical research on the support staff of Grey's Anatomy.
