Biography
Sandy Kroopf is a writer and producer. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 1984 drama Birdy, directed by Alan Parker and based on the novel by William Wharton.
Kroopf wrote an episode of the medical series ER in 2000. His other writing credits include the television film Contagious (1997), an episode of Nothing Sacred (1997), and an episode of Lonesome Dove: The Series (1994). He has also worked as a producer, serving as executive producer on Under the Tuscan Sun (2003) and associate producer on No Man's Land (1987).
