Biography
Sanjay Shah is a television writer and producer. He began his writing career on the animated series King of the Hill, serving as staff writer and story editor from 2007 to 2010.
His subsequent credits include writing episodes of Cougar Town (2009–2012), Enlisted (2014), Fresh Off the Boat (2015–2017), Central Park (2020) and Blindspotting (2023). He has also worked as a producer on several of these series. Shah created and served as showrunner and executive producer on the animated series Everybody Still Hates Chris (2024). He previously worked as a consultant on South Park (2009) and has sold pilots to multiple networks.
Raised in the Bay Area, Shah started as a stand-up comedian before entering television writing. In 2017 he signed an overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television.
