Biography
Sara Mishara is an American-Canadian cinematographer. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she studied film at Concordia University and the Prague Film School.
She has worked as director of photography on films including You're Sleeping, Nicole (2014), Allure (2017), Boundaries (2018), My Salinger Year (2020), Drunken Birds (2021) and Viking (2022). She served as cinematographer on The Stunt Driver (2026).
Mishara won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Cinematography for The Great Darkened Days (2018). She has received multiple nominations for the Canadian Screen Awards and the Prix Jutra.
