Biography
Sara Parriott is an American screenwriter and producer who has worked in long-term partnership with Josann McGibbon. Their credits include the films The Favor (1994), 3 Men and a Little Lady (1990) and Runaway Bride (1999), as well as episodes of the television series Desperate Housewives (2004) and The Starter Wife (2007).
Parriott and McGibbon wrote and executive-produced the Disney Channel film Descendants (2015) and its sequels. They received Primetime Emmy nominations in 2007 and a Writers Guild of America Award in 2016 for Descendants.
