Biography
Sarah Carter, also credited as Sarah Sanguin Carter, is a Canadian actress, writer and director. She was born on 30 October 1980 in Toronto, Ontario, and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She is known for recurring roles as Alicia Baker in Smallville (2004–2005) and Madeleine Poe opposite James Woods in Shark (2006–2008), and as a series regular as Maggie in Falling Skies (2011–2015). Her other television credits include appearances in CSI: NY, Hawaii Five-0, The Flash and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Film roles include Shaina in Final Destination 2 (2003) and Helena Douglas in DOA: Dead or Alive (2006). She has also worked as a director, with her feature debut In Her Name premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022.
