Biography
Sarah McCarron is an American writer, producer and director who works in television, film and theatre. She trained at the University of Delaware and holds an MFA in ensemble devised physical theatre from the Lecoq pedagogy. She has a background in devised and physical theatre, having worked with companies including Pig Iron Theatre Company and others in the United States and Europe.
McCarron wrote two episodes of the HBO Max series Made for Love (2021) and served as writer and executive story editor on the ten-episode HBO Max miniseries Station Eleven (2021–2022). She wrote one episode of the Paramount+ series Halo (2024), on which she also worked as a producer. She is co-executive producer and writer on the forthcoming Netflix series The Abandons (2025).
She wrote, directed and produced the short film The Bend (2024).
