Biography
Sarah Siegel-Magness is a film producer and director. She co-founded the production company Smokewood Entertainment with her husband, Gary Magness. The pair financed and produced the 2009 film Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire, which received six Academy Award nominations including Best Picture.
Siegel-Magness graduated from the University of Colorado. She produced the 2011 family film Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer and made her directorial debut with the 2013 drama Crazy Kind of Love. Earlier credits include executive producing Tennessee (2008).
