Biography
Sasha Grey is an American actress, model, author and musician. Born Marina Ann Hantzis on 14 March 1988 in North Highlands, California, she began her career in adult films in 2006 before transitioning to mainstream work.
Her feature-film debut came as the lead in Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience (2009), in which she played escort Chelsea (real name Christine). She later appeared in independent films including Would You Rather (2013), Open Windows (2014) and The Scribbler (2014), and played a semi-fictionalised version of herself in the HBO series Entourage (2010). Grey was a co-founder, singer and writer of the industrial band aTelecine and has published the Juliette Society trilogy of novels.
