Biography
Saskia Wickham is a British actress. She was born on 14 January 1967 in Holland Park, London, and is the daughter of actor Jeffry Wickham. She made her screen debut at the age of five in an episode of the television series Villains (1972).
Wickham received a commendation at the first Ian Charleson Awards in 1991 for her stage performance as Sonya in Uncle Vanya at the Old Vic. On television she is known for playing Alex Wilton in Boon (1992–1995), Dr Erica Matthews in Peak Practice (1996–1998) and Claudia Seabrook in the BBC drama Our Friends in the North (1996). Her film roles include Gunvor in Prince of Jutland (1994), Rowena Alabaster in Angels and Insects (1995) and Dolly in Anna Karenina (1997). She has also appeared in Green Wing (2004) and Midsomer Murders (1997).
Wickham is married to television director Robert Bierman.
