Biography
Satoshi Ishii is a Japanese-Croatian actor. Born on 19 December 1986 in Ibaraki, Osaka, he began his career in judo, winning the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics, before transitioning to mixed martial arts and acting.
His acting credits include the role of a fairgrounds fighter in Here Comes the Boom (2012), Sato's Thug in the television series Tokyo Vice (2022), and Enson Inoue in The Smashing Machine (2025). He has also appeared in Atlas King (2026).
