Biography
Sayuri Ishikawa is a Japanese actress and enka singer. She made her professional debut in 1973 and has appeared in films and television since the early 1970s.
Her acting credits include Izu no odoriko (1974), Run, Truck Rascal, Run! (1979) and the television series Kirin ga kuru (2020). She played the role of Mama in Wim Wenders’s Perfect Days (2023).
Ishikawa received the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2019.
