Biography
Scott Aukerman is an American comedian, writer, producer, director and actor. Born on 2 July 1970 in Savannah, Georgia, he began his career writing for the sketch series Mr. Show with Bob and David.
He co-created the web interview series Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis and directed and co-wrote the 2019 feature film Between Two Ferns: The Movie. Aukerman hosts the long-running podcast Comedy Bang! Bang! and co-founded the Earwolf podcast network.
As an actor he has appeared in Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) and episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He is married to comedian and actress Kulap Vilaysack.
