Biography
Scott Stevenson is an American film editor. A graduate of the UCLA Film and Television School, he began working as an assistant editor on US productions in the mid-1980s before receiving his first solo editing credit on the 1989 film Cyborg.
He is best known for co-editing Mathieu Kassovitz’s La Haine (1995) with the director. Stevenson has edited both narrative features and documentaries, including LA 92 (2017), for which he received an Eddie Award nomination from the American Cinema Editors. He is a member of that organisation and works between Paris and Los Angeles.
