Biography
Sean C. Covel (born 4 March 1976) is an American film producer, writer and educator. He grew up in Edgemont, South Dakota, and trained at the University of Southern California’s Peter Stark Producing Program.
Covel is best known as a producer of the 2004 independent comedy Napoleon Dynamite. He later produced The 12 Dogs of Christmas (2004), Think Tank (2006), Beneath (2007) and Café (2011). With Chris Wyatt he received a nomination for the Producer Award at the 20th Independent Spirit Awards for Napoleon Dynamite.
He has also worked as a co-producer on the 2012 animated television series Napoleon Dynamite and as an educator and keynote speaker.
