Biography
Seán Mahon is an Irish stage and screen actor. He trained at the Center Theater Meisner school in Chicago and began his career on the Chicago stage before working in Los Angeles, New York, London, Dublin and across Europe.
He is known for Broadway roles including Nicky Giblin in The Seafarer and Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps. Film credits include Michael Hess in Philomena (2013), Comanche Pilot in Hulk (2003), Lucky in Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), Collinsport Cop in Dark Shadows (2012) and Dr. Eduard in Anthropoid (2016). On television he played Brian McGonigle in Red Rock (2015–2016), for which he received two Irish Film and Television Academy nominations for best lead actor, and Ray Kelly in EastEnders (2018–2019).
