Biography
Sendhil Ramamurthy is an Indian-American actor. Born on 17 May 1974 in Chicago, he was raised in San Antonio, Texas. He studied history at Tufts University before training at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Ramamurthy is best known for playing geneticist Mohinder Suresh in the NBC series Heroes (2006–2010) and its sequel Heroes Reborn (2015). Other television roles include Jai Wilcox in Covert Affairs (2010–2012), Gabriel Lowen in Beauty & the Beast (2013–2014), and Mohan Vishwakumar in Never Have I Ever (2020–2023). He has also appeared in The Flash (2019–2020) as Dr Ramsey Rosso and in the live-action One Piece (2023) as Nefertari Cobra.
He is married to actress Olga Sosnovska and is a cousin of comedian and director Jay Chandrasekhar.
